The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) will release the provisional answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 today, May 25, on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Lakhs of aspirants across the country, including thousands from Bihar, who appeared for the prestigious engineering entrance examination can now review their responses against the official answers.
To download the answer key, candidates need to visit jeeadv.ac.in and log in using their registration number and date of birth. The provisional key will display question-wise correct answers for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 across all subjects. Students will also be able to raise objections against any answer they find questionable, typically within a specified window of three to four days, by paying a nominal fee per question challenged.
Bihar has consistently produced top rankers in JEE Advanced, with coaching hubs in Patna witnessing unprecedented growth in recent years. The final answer key, incorporating valid objections, will be released subsequently, followed by the results expected in the second week of June.
Candidates are advised to download and preserve the answer key for future reference. The JEE Advanced score determines admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other premier engineering institutions nationwide. Experts suggest that students use this period to calculate their approximate scores and prepare for counselling procedures ahead.
