The Supreme Voice operates with complete editorial independence. Our journalism is not influenced by advertisers, donors, political parties, or any external organisation. Decisions about what to publish, how to cover stories, and what positions to take are made solely by our editorial team.
Donations from readers support our operations but carry no editorial influence whatsoever. Advertisers have no say in our content. We will not suppress, soften, or alter reporting in response to commercial pressure.
We declare any material financial relationships that could reasonably be perceived to influence our coverage.
Accuracy is the foundation of our journalism. Before publishing, we:
When we are uncertain about a fact, we say so clearly. Speculation is labelled as such.
We cover all communities, political parties, institutions, and public figures with equal scrutiny. We do not take sides in political contests or elections. We present all significant viewpoints on contested issues fairly.
Opinion and analysis pieces are clearly labelled and represent the views of the named author, not The Supreme Voice as an institution.
We do not allow our own biases — or those of our sources — to distort our reporting. We actively seek out perspectives that challenge our assumptions.
We take errors seriously. When we make a mistake — factual, contextual, or typographical — we correct it promptly, transparently, and without attempting to conceal that a correction has been made.
How corrections work:
To report an error, email corrections@thesupremevoice.com. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
We welcome news tips and story submissions from the public through our Submit News page. All submissions are:
Submitting false, fabricated, or defamatory information is a violation of our Terms of Use. We may refer cases of deliberate disinformation to appropriate authorities.
Our journalists and editors must disclose any personal, financial, or professional relationships that could create — or appear to create — a conflict of interest with the stories they cover.
Privacy: We respect individuals' right to privacy. Private individuals who become newsworthy are treated with care. We do not publish private information unless it is clearly in the public interest.
Minors: We do not publish identifying information about children involved in legal cases, crime, or sensitive situations without explicit editorial justification.
Mental health & suicide: We follow established media guidelines on reporting suicide and mental health, prioritising the safety of our readers.
Communal & religious content: We are deeply mindful of India's social fabric. We report on communal issues with care, context, and responsibility. We do not publish content that incites hatred or division.
Crime reporting: Accused individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty. We report allegations as allegations, not as established facts.
We take complaints seriously and aim to resolve them fairly and promptly.
